Chari, Jan and I went to South Pocket, which is the way most of the trip reports describe. Much much easier. Jan was impressed with how well I researched this hike. No saint like a sinner reformed . . .
Jan and I went up to Mt. Hamilton, too, sneaking up quickly while the sun was setting. I don't know if I've ever trespassed until I got the idea to do county high points in the winter, and now I slump down every time a police cruiser drives by.
